Heidi at Dog Splash has a new puppy! Brutus is a mastiff, so we had to get in a photo session before he got too big to fit in the viewfinder!

The shots

Brutus was friendly and mellow and just an absolute doll, but not the most cooperative puppy. The photos ended up being more “lifestyle shots” than “posed portraits” since his favorite place was under the folding table amidst all the chairs.

I couldn’t get enough of his expressive eyes or those droopy jowls, even if they sometimes sported a string of drool.
