The challenge
A few months back I took some before-and-after grooming photos for Heidi, the owner and head pet stylist at a local grooming establishment.
This time around she had some handstripping photos (taken by someone else; see photos to right) that she wanted touched-up and edited to “make them look better.” The photos were low-resolution and small, so the goal was to improve their quality as much as possible.
Project highlights
The photos were first color corrected and cropped. I also pushed the clarity up a bit to bring back some of the detail in the dogs’ fur.
The photos that would be side-by-side were resized to have identical dimensions, then titles and frames were added to match the before-and-afters already on the website.
The result is a concise visual showing the dramatic results of handstripping two Spinone Italianos.
